Anybody who has been in Cape Town over the last couple of weeks will agree that the weather has been sublime. It's as if Winter has been hastily relegated to the trashcan of discarded seasons and is now just a distant, fading memory. Visitors, friends and locals alike have come out of hibernation.
Evidence of Spring in the air is all around us. Take a walk along the beach and witness concerned mothers clucking after their off-spring as the kids frolic in the surf. Couples walking hand-in-hand accompanied by their four-legged friends stroll along the beach, the water crashing at their ankles whilst their canine friends gambol in the water, playing a cat-and-mouse game with the waves.
Cape Town has come out of its winter hibernation intact and is getting ready to welcome the holiday-making pleasure seekers as we enter the Spring / Summer 2012 party season.
